disappointed by the fallacy of a dream

Using traditional relief printmaking methods on soft lino, I carved this block which features a reclining nude figure in the preciously delicate moment between the states of dreaming and consciousness.

Transforming the single block into a repeat pattern, the resulting calico is then printed on medium-weight cotton fabric.
