The custom textiles used in the S/S 2019 collection focus on the varying tactile qualities of different fabrics, and allow for an exploration of the balance found through an unexpected combination of materials. As a result, the collection explores the importance of the three-dimensional feeling of a garment, a quality often lost within the age of digital printing, drawing inspiration from a wide array of sources, including vintage carpets and Matisse’s cutouts.
