The inspiration for Neau’s S/S 2018 collection comes from the concept of a distorted grid – as opposed to focusing on the perfect nature of a grid, the garments aim to bend and distort this idea of perfection. The custom textiles used in the collection return to traditional means of print-making, using both screen-printing and block-printing as their methods of production. The digital renderings of each textile shown below illustrate the way in which traditional print-making methods can translate into digital ways of creation, bridging the gap between tradition and modernity.
